Happy Monday everyone! We’re starting a new routine of 1 nap this week so please pray for us! It’s been a tough couple of weeks of napping and Friday I finally decided that we were going to 1 nap. I’ll tell you, it’s not been too bad. She’s been much happier, I’m less stressed, but that means EVERYTHING and I do mean EVERYTHING is different. I’ll talk about it later this week.
This weekend was fun – we ended up getting about 6 inches of snow on Saturday into Sunday night. Jeff’s buddy and his wife from college came over Saturday night for a fun evening of BBQ and Phase 10. I love that game, it’s so fun.
Sunday, we decided if the roads were okay, we wanted to check out the Home & Garden Show downtown. The roads were in good shape and apparently everyone stayed home because no one was at the convention center. Close parking, no lines – it was great! We have a laundry list of projects we are working on tackling over the next year or so and wanted to get some ideas. From glass doors in our bathroom, new landscaping and even kitchen remodels – we looked at it all.
Miss H thought the Ferris Wheel was SO cool. Couple more years.
They also had a Frisbee dog show.
We lasted through 2 dogs, but when she did watch, she loved it!
She’s such a cheese! She did such good job. We stopped at St. Louis Bread Co on the way home and she ate half a bagel, macaroni & cheese and more. Girlfriend loves to eat!
I had set out a bowl for fresh snow on Saturday night to make snow ice cream.
I looked up a recipe on Pinterest.
IT WAS AWFUL.
So that was our eventful weekend. Tuesday it is supposed to 50 degrees! I really hope all this snow melts and we start to get warmer days. I have a closet of pretty dresses that are crying to be worn!
Have a great week!
