We’ve gone back and forth about when is the right time to get a phone for H and I have to say after extensive conversation, Troomi Wireless is the best phone for kids and teens that we have seen. How is Troomi Different?
We’ve been using Troomi for the past month and we have really liked it. As a parent, I love that we can set up her contact list with only the people that we are in agreement on communicating with. There is zero social media, so there are no concerns for us there. It does offer some of Hattie’s favorite apps like YouTube Kids and Facebook Kids Messenger. It does offer the Google Suite of options for school and many school-related apps that she can use as well. There is a limited app library, but it has everything she needs.
I like the parent portal so I can check in on what she has been doing on the phone, see any conversations, and the GPS monitoring while she is out and about. We really wanted an option for emergency purposes. When she is not home, her phone can text and call.
