I’m at that point in my life where the question is continually asked – are you having another kid? The likely good of that is slim to none, but every so often I like to go back and reminisce about when Miss H was a tiny baby, didn’t sass back and try to run all over the place.

It’s crazy to think back to diapers and nursing and all of that. Now she’s self sufficient for the most part, almost potty trained and insists on doing things herself. Crazy how much changes in 2 short years. Miraculously, we’ve kept her alive and she loves fruits and vegetables – so we must be doing something a tiny bit right!
I love telling the story of when Hattie was just a couple of weeks when Jeff called me into the nursery insisting she had jaundice. Of course, I had no clue, just that the skin would be a yellow tinge. Sure enough, yellow all down her leg. But instead of calling the hospital, I just grabbed a wipe and cleaned all the poop off her leg. Still one of our most memorable blowouts to date!

I wish I had known about WaterWipes when Miss H was tiny and we were in diapers. We were a little late to the party – but in love now! We clothed diapered but still used wipes. Being as health and eco-friendly was the name of the game and now we use WaterWipes on a regular basis. I mean, who doesn’t love a product that only contains two ingredients – 99.9% pure Irish water and 0.1% grapefruit seed extract?

While our messes have changed, we still have lots of clean up to do. We’ve just transitioned our WaterWipes use to dirty hands and faces and even a kitchen table every so often.

I love learning from other moms and their crazy first year experiences. Watch the video below to see other mom’s experiences in their first year.

Thank you to WaterWipes for this fun program. We’ve loved being able to share our love of WaterWipes with moms all across the US and in the STL Metro. I’m pretty sure we’ve convinced lots of moms to make the switch too!

Do you have any fun or memorable moments from your first year as a new parent?
