I love an easy cookie recipe, don’t you? Crinkle cookies are one of my favorite cookies because they are super versatile. Practically any box of cake mix will give you delicious moist crinkle cookies. In honor of Valentine’s Day, I wanted to make Strawberry Crinkle Cookies. When cake mix goes on sale for a dollar, I am always finding myself adding two or three to my cart. It’s a pantry staple that allows me to whip up a variety of recipes in no time.
How do you celebrate Valentine’s Day? For us, Valentine’s Day is a fun holiday, but we don’t go crazy with elaborate gifts. Homemade is what we love. Sometimes we may do a fun spending limit of $20 for a gift. Usually though, we like to use fun Glow Stick Printables and the Best Sugar Cookie Recipe for friends. It’s just a sweet inexpensive way to share your feelings. These recipes would be a super cute cookie plate to gift to friends or neighbors to show you that you care.
Let’s talk about these cookies.
Crinkle Cookie Recipe
These cookies couldn’t be any easier. Just cake mix, powdered sugar, butter eggs. I would bet you have most of that on hand.
Mix it all together and chill in the fridge for an hour.
After 1 hour, preheat the oven to 350. Take dough and make 1 tablespoon balls. Roll in hands to get perfect shape. Roll the dough in powdered sugar and repeat.
Bake on a non-stick cookie sheet or on parchment paper for 10 minutes or until slightly brown. Cool and serve.
These cookies can be easily swapped out for devils food cake, funfetti, butter cake mix (yum), or your personal favorite cake mix. Take these to your next party or when you are looking for a sweet treat.
