I recently had the opportunity to try another Stitch Fix box with a focus on Athleisure. I thought I’d share my overall thoughts on this particular box and my overall thoughts. While I didn’t really need any more athleisure wear, I’m always a fan of looking for comfortable clothes to wear at home especially during colder months.
From a sizing perspective, I’m an XL/1X and wear a size 18 in pants. I found that almost everything in this fix was a 1X and fit just fine. Let’s talk about the looks.
Jillyan Raglan Sweatshirt & Carla Burnout Jogger
The combo of this sweatshirt and jogger was so cozy, I could sleep in them! After I washed the sweatshirt, it just became so buttery soft and has a bit of a stretch to it. Very soft, comfortable, and I could easily dress this up if I wanted to with jeans and a button-down underneath it and pointy flats. Super-versatile.
Becksa 7/8 Performance Legging/Daguna Lined Jacket/Harlow Space Dye Crop Performance Tank
If I’m being 100%, this was not my most favorite look. The longer line sports bra hit in a strange place and rolled cause of that. I did like that the leggings were high-waisted and offered me some coverage with the sports bra. I didn’t love the cardigan, it’s cute just not my style. I love a drapey cardigan, but a chunky knit, faux fur, and leather are just not my styles. I will say for the plus size figure the cardigan is super figure-friendly and gives the versatility to wear it more open or closed.
Zaryn Cotton Blend Poncho Pullover
Hands down this was my favorite piece in this fix. I love the curved edges and the lighter softer weight of the sweater. Sometimes winter sweaters can be thick and scratchy around the next and this one was definitely not. Paired with skinny jeans and pointy flats, this is the perfect look for running around town or a casual date night.
Audrina Performance Criss Cross Back Top/ Zina Leather Sneaker
I have a similar top to this from Beyond Yoga so I knew it was a style I would really like. The grey joggers are back again paired with the Dolce Vita sneakers. Super easy look for running up to school or to the grocery store. when I first got the sneakers, I quickly said they weren’t my style and I’ve been wearing them ever since. Sometimes going outside of your comfort zone a little definitely in a win.
Overall I was really happy with this Fix. I thought the colors were winter-appropriate, cozy, and great for staying home. Which look was your favorite?
