It is one of my favorite times of the year – holiday lights! St. Louis Christmas Light displays are fantastic. Depending on your geographical location and your price point, you are sure to find a light display perfect for your next family adventure. Today, I’m sharing the 2021 St. Louis Christmas Light Displays that we have personally attended in the past and our recommendations.

Dasher’s Light Show at the POWERPlex
November 5 – December 31st
$30-35 Per Car Based on Timing
New for this year the Dasher’s Lights at the POWERPlex. Of all of the light displays, I would say this is the most technologically advanced. At the same time, this may be one of the shorter light displays you’ll see. The music syncs to the lights which are really neat to see and different from other displays. If you’re into the bells and whistles with light – this is the show for you.

Winter Wonderland at Tilles Park
November 21-January 1, 2022
5:30-9:30pm
Walks – $8, Cars – $15, Carriages starting at $110 for 6.
Winter Wonderland is one of our annual traditions in our family. I have been attending ever since I was a child and have always loved going. You can see our latest trip for 2021 here. There is something nostalgic about seeing these lights each year and it’s a fun memory that we look forward to each year. You can purchase your tickets online for the drive experience or pay with cash there. Note that traffic does get very heavy and you’ll need to plan to exit on McKnight East Bound on Highway 270. We’re big fans of this one.
Brewery Lights
November 26 – December 30th
$10 for Adults, $5 for Minors
Back this year is Brewery Lights at Anheuser-Busch. This is an annual tradition for us as well and it’s always fun to experience the Brewery in this way. New this year is the admission fee, but you do get a beer included.
See more of our experience in 2018, 2017, and 2015.
Your Brewery Lights reservation includes Free Parking, A Complimentary 16 oz Beer, a 30-minute Light Show, access to Love Beer Plaza & our newly Enhanced Kid’s Zone, all surrounded by dazzling light displays and plenty of photo opportunities.

U.S. Bank Wildlights at the St. Louis Zoo
November 26 – December 30
$10-13 Depending on Day and Membership
This holiday season, escape to a wonderland unlike any other at U.S. Bank Wild Lights. Our dazzling holiday event features brand-new light displays and themed areas. In addition to brilliant light displays, warm up with winter-themed treats, and say hello to the animals at Penguin & Puffin Coast and the Insectarium.
Santa’s Magical Kingdom
Nov 19, 2021 – Jan 9, 2022
5:30 pm to 11:00 pm Friday and Saturday 5:30 pm to 10:30 pm Sunday-Thursday
$25 MON-THURS or $30 FRI, SAT, SUN per family car, truck, mini-van, or SUV
These are old-school Christmas lights. Load up the biggest car you have and experience more than 4 million lights. This is one of the longer drive through experiences with over 35 acres to drive through. For the price, this one is a better value if you went with friends. Some of the scenery feels dated but also feels nostalgic.

Garden Glow at the Missouri Botanical Gardens
Open Through January 8th
Adults $18-20 or $14-26 for Members, $3-10 for Kids
One of our favorite places to visit each year, the Garden Glow is the perfect length for a family walk. Grab some hot chocolate and warm up by a fire with s’mores. There are plenty of photo-ops all around the Garden that are great memory makers.
Celebration of Lights at Fort Zumwalt Park
November 26th
Sunday – Thursday, 6–9 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 6–10 p.m.
Tickets are available for MOST vehicles for $12 – Must be purchased in advance.
My St. Charles County friends, I have a spot for you! Celebration of Lights is one of our must-see stops each year. I love this one because each display is sponsored by a group. You’ll see everything from Scouting Troops to Insurance companies. You see a lot of the same displays year over year but it’s fun to see them add to their displays. Overall it’s a fun experience and the perfect length for the price.
