One of my favorite holiday traditions over the years is going to see The Nutcracker Ballet. I’ve seen various Ballet Companies perform and they are all amazing. I was so excited when I was able to partner with US Family Guide to attend the Moscow Ballet Presents the Great Russian Nutcracker at The Fabulous Fox Theater. I invited my Mom to go with me as I know we don’t get many mother daughter dates.
I didn’t take any photos during the show because that is looked down upon in the performance world. I did snap a couple at the end when the standing ovations occurred that were very well deserved.
Overall, the show was flawless. The prima ballerina was amazing. Such grace and poise. I especially loved that they partner with local ballet schools to have younger dancers be apart of the show. Some of them were my favorite parts of the show.
If you aren’t familiar with the ballet, you can get a complete run down here. I’m pretty sure that all of the music will be familiar to you as well. So many classic pieces! It looks as if they will be traveling all over the country in December, so check to see if they will be near you. Definitely a great show you wouldn’t want to miss!
I was given tickets in exchange for an honest review of the show through US Family Guide. In no way did that sway my opinion of the show, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
