Okay ladies, you’ve seen me posting for a while about the Dia & Co style box. Well it’s time I finally told you all about it. I’ve tried a few of their boxes over the past year and let me tell you, I’m a big fan. I enjoy shopping, so for me I like to take a break every so often and see what a stylist would pick for my outfits.
What is Dia & Co?
Dia&Co is the leading digital-first retailer dedicated exclusively to serving women who wear sizes 14 and up. Dia stylists send curated boxes to your door, filled with garments hand-picked to fit your unique body, budget, and style. You can try the clothes on risk-free in the comfort of your own home, with access to a personal stylist each step of the way.
How does it work?
Dia&Co is a body-positive shopping experience for women who wear sizes 14 and up. Our stylists work with the best brands – from industry staples to up-and-coming young designers – to provide each customer with curated looks to suit their unique style and shape.
Each customer receives a box of 5 hand-selected pieces, chosen specifically for her. She tries everything on in the comfort of her own home and keeps only the items she loves. Our stylists learn as they go and work with each customer to build a wardrobe that she looks – and feels – amazing in. We charge a flat $20 styling fee for every box, which acts as a credit towards any purchase.
For this particular box, I told my stylist I was looking for more end of summer transitional looks and boy did she deliver. My box included one pair of skinny ankle jeans, 2 tops, a dress and necklace. All perfect items to transition into fall. I also told them I was going on vacation and wanted any fun options that would be beach appropriate.
In this box my jeans fit like a glove. It took me a few years to get into the skinny jean trend, but I love them. I’m also 5’3, so on a taller person, these are supposed to be more ankle length, but they work great for me! The jeans are an 18W and fit true to size. The tops ran a little big for me, this coral color was intended to fit more like a tunic, but I did a little tuck and it looked more polished. I could have easily sized down in this shirt.
Same thing with the the second top. I could have sized down. I’m typically a 16W on top, and they sent 2X. I did the same thing with the tuck and this one looked cute. I could easily pair this with leggings and flats into fall and it would be adorable.
The last item was this gingham dress. Ya’ll know how I feel about gingham. I love that it had a tie waist to give more definition. This was also a little large on me too, but because of the tie, I was able to adjust accordingly. The box also came with a longer necklace that my dear 4 year old has taken.
Overall, I was happy with this box. I would let me stylist to size me down for the tops next time, but spot on with the jeans.
You can try Dia & Co yourself and let me know what you think!
