It’s no secret that we have a love of 2 things – 1) all the patriotic wear and 2) Gymboree! I was so excited when we were asked to participate in the One Big Happy Red, White and Cute campaign because really, what else should you wear in the summer? Historically, we wear our red white and blue regularly from Memorial Day to Labor day and a full week of colors the week of 4th of July. It’s been so fun this year especially with a 3 year old because we’re officially into accessorizing. Add a necklace, bracelet and purse and don’t forget the bow! It’s perfect because Gymboree has accessories galore and it made this little lady thrilled!
This year we’re changing up our plans quite a bit from what we usually do to celebrate. We’ll be heading to the Lake House this weekend for a fun Memorial Day BBQ and dip in the lake (weather permitting). It’s been so fun really enjoying the outdoors with the addition of the Lake House that my parents bought. It’s a great way to get away and just enjoy the calm and relaxed way of living. Great memories to be made, I’m sure.
I’m sure Hattie will insist on bringing all of those accessories to the lake this weekend, too! All of Miss H’s outfit is from the Americana Collection.I’m pretty sure we’ll be adding more to the collection because the Popsicle shorts are to die for! We opted for the Stars Dress, and Star Boots. Because who doesn’t love a little girl in sassy red boots?
We rounded the look off with this adorable Popsicle Purse and Americana Bracelet.
We went simple with her gorgeous curls and a twisted back hair do with the Americana Clips.
How darling is the crisscross back? This is a size 3T and plenty of room for this year and maybe even next!

Oh we love wearing it on Memorial day to visit the graves of our loved ones, on the 4th of July to the parades…and actually just about all summer long!
