Raise of hands when your kids get home from school all they want to do is eat? Okay, good just not my kiddo. I always like to keep a supply of healthy snacks around the house and ones I know she will definitely eat. I love it when I can find a quick, easy and healthy snack option that we both love.
I was so excited when I put together this easy white bean avocado dip with S&W White Beans. We’re talking just a few ingredients in the food processor and you have a really healthy snacking option. The thing I love about this dip, is it’s a spin on hummus. Cucumbers, pita, carrots are all ideal dipping options for this bright dip. The funny thing about this dip everyone tries and can’t quite put their finger on the mystery ingredient. Beans are such a great way to add fiber and healthy snacks stretch. Sure, I could easily make guacamole, but adding the beans just added that extra layer of yum factor. Perfect for this upcoming football season too!
This dip is one of those super versatile dips that you can use in so many ways, almost like a spin on pesto. You could mix it with pasta for an easy week night pasta dinner. You could spoon it on top of grilled chicken or even thin it out a little bit for a yummy dressing. I love that with S&W Beans they help make your food look great and taste great. We all know we eat with our eyes first and then stomachs. Pretty food is where it is at! I love keeping all kinds of beans on hand, especially white beans in the fall, because I use them for my white chicken chili.
