Do you have a favorite winter time dinner? For our house, it’s always chili. I love that I can make a pot of it, and it lasts for a few meals. Over time my recipe had changed, but one thing that is always a constant are BUSH’S® Chili Beans in my Easy Fire Roasted Chili.
So let’s talk about the chili. I love having a few simple pantry staples that I can keep on hand that really pack a punch. The Mom-Win about using BUSH’S® Chili Beans is that they have an all day simmered taste with simple ingredients, and I can have dinner on the table in under 30 minutes. Talk about a win!
Now this particular recipe calls for BUSH’S® Mild Kidney Beans Chili Beans and BUSH’S® Mild Red Chili Beans. For years, I’ve always done that combo, and love the flavor profile. Now, don’t forget with chili beans, you don’t need to rinse them before using. They have all the chilies, spices, garlic and onions simmered in. You really don’t need to add anything else!
As always BUSH’s Beans are naturally gluten-free and cholesterol free and a great addition to any meal. We are big fans of BUSH’s Baked beans, so we’re glad we can add other varieties to our shopping list. Hattie loves adding cheese crackers or helps with making cornbread for a quick and easy week night dinner. Then later in the week, we’ll make chili dogs or even chili mac with the leftovers. Such a versatile dish for meal planning.
You can pick up BUSH’s Chili Beans at a retailer near you for your next pot of chili.
