We are a couple of weeks away from our vacation to 30A and I am so excited. Traveling with a toddler can be challenging, but if you plan it right, you can keep your level of stress down. I’m so excited to team up with OXO Tot to share with you 6 of my favorite must have travel items for your next adventure. We took all of our goodies on a pre-vacation test run to the lake!
I learned long ago that I had to be prepared with Miss H. Extra snacks, extra clothes, extra undies and diapers. Basically always placing like I’m not coming home for a while. Every time we get in the car, Miss H asks for a snack. The Flippyâ„¢ Snack Cup with Travel Cover is perfect for this. Keeps those pesky fish in the cup without getting them all over the car. I especially love the handle so she has a good grip at all times and they don’t shake out everywhere. When we are stopped or at home, I like to use the Transitions Soft Spout Sippy Cup Set. Miss H is about 90% of the time using a standard cup and this helped her transition to doing it. We took both our snack up and drinking cup with us out on the boat with no issues at all!
The biggest situation we’re dealing with for travel is potty training. As you know we’ve been potty training for the last 6 months successfully, but with girls we’ve been told regression happens and that is where we are at this very moment. We’re back in diapers a little more than we’d like and still using the potty. For those last minute potty announcements, we love the 2-in-1-Go Pottyâ„¢ with Travel Bag. This is perfect for public restrooms when you don’t want them to fall in or if you’re in a pickle and need a potty in your car. I like to keep this in my trunk for emergencies. You never know when someone will announce going potty!
When I know lots of walking is involved, I’m sure to bring our light weight umbrella stroller. This was one of the best decisions we made after putting away our big stroller. I like to make sure wipes are accessible and emergency diapers are pretty close by. The On-The-Go Wipes Dispenser w/Diaper Pouch hangs on the back of my stroller with ease so I grab a wipe when I need it. Seriously, who doesn’t ALWAYS need a wipe? The other tool I keep on my stroller is the Handy Stroller Hook. Perfect for those long shopping days, or when you need a little more storage. We use it for Miss H’s life jacket while she was in her stroller, while we were waiting for the boat.
And of course after we’ve had an awesome time out, it’s time to make sure everything is cleaned up. I keep the Cleaning Set for Straw & Sippy Cups close to the sink, because no one wants leftover yuck in their cup. We had such a fun afternoon of playing with family and enjoying the last few days of before fall sets in.
Thank you to OXO Tot for tagging along on our fun adventure today and for ensuring our vacation in a couple of weeks is smooth sailing down to Florida! Tell me, are there any must-have items that you have at all times for successful travel?

Potty training and travel is always difficult! Great gear you're bringing along though.
I am on the hunt for a cute snack container, and thanks to you I have found it!
We have that seat but thankfully haven't had to use it yet. We are huge oxo fans, we still use their snack cups and forks and spoons!
those snack cups are awesome! I love the open handle so they can attach onto things!
These are all such great suggestions! I travel often with my two little girls and will definitely be looking into some of these products! Thank you for sharing! And have a wonderful trip to Florida!
We love OXO Tot! Looks like you had a fun day!
Love the stroller clips and bags that can attach to it!
These aren't favorite! We've hit the regression stage of potty training too! I'm ready to get back to where we were.
I love that snack holder!
I love the OXO brand! That 2-in-1 potty is so cool! I think I need that for my mom van!
We love our OXO Tot items! So far the snack cup is a favorite. Have fun on your vacation. We are getting ready for Mexico next month too 🙂
Oxo makes the cutest stuff!
We've done the "potty in the car with a starbucks cup" before. Love the Go Potty bag idea! Thanks for sharing!
