Do you ever find yourself in a meal time rut? Your kids are constantly wanting just the same one or two things every night and it gets old. Wish you could just spin a wheel and get your kiddos to try something new and different and make a game out of it? Well, look no further! I’ve come up with a fun way to get your kids to eat their fruits, veggies and even mix up your main course. I’ll also share about my new favorite find – Kidfresh, which is available on Cartwheel for 40% off! But first, the WHEEL OF YUM!

Luckily for me, Miss H is a pretty adventurous eater and we don’t usually have too many problems with getting her to try new things. However, I have friends who have the pickiest eaters who only eat hot dogs and macaroni and cheese. Nothing against those, we love it too, but in moderation.

Knowing that Miss H would eat the classic kids choices on a daily basis, I came up with a fun way to make choosing options for meal time a snap. We call in the Wheel of Yum! The great thing about the Wheel of Yum is that you can customize it to your families tastes. We have 3 in our house. 1 for main courses, 1 for fruits, and one for veggies. There is also a blank one to make your very own. Feel free to get creative or even make a new one every week! We use ours during lunch when it’s a little more unpredictable on what we’re having for lunch.
All you need is a few pieces of cardstock for this printable, scissors, a metal fastener and you’re all set! Just print out the pages.
From there, just cut out your circle and arrow, use a metal fastener to secure the arrow to the circle in the center. Be sure to test spin it a few times to get it spinning and then it’s time to play and eat!

Some days we are feeling wild and crazy we spin all three and take a chance with the wheel. On days where Miss H just wants to eat, we’ll opt for a go to for her like Kidfresh Wagon Wheels Mac + Cheese or Kidfresh Super Duper Chicken Nuggets. Fruits and veggies are so important and I love that Kidfresh is adding up to an extra half up of veggies to their meals. Moms know how to be sneaky with the produce! Am I right? Kidfresh also contains no artificial ingredients, non-GMO ingredients.

There are quite a few varieties that any kid will love. Miss H loves the Kidfresh Wagon Wheels Mac + Cheese, Kidfresh Super Duper Chicken Nuggets, and Kidfresh Spaghetti Loops + Meat Sauce. Paired with an extra fruit or veggie, it’s the perfect lunch for my growing girl.

I get my Kidfresh products at my local Target. I’m there every week, I might as well be picking up a few options for Miss H for lunch! Right now, you can take advantage of a 40% off Cartwheel promotion until September 24th. Kidfresh meals range from $2.99 to $3.99, so that is quite a savings! If you haven’t downloaded Cartwheel, do so now, it’s such a great way to save!

You can find Kidfresh in the Kid’s Faves section in the freezer department at Target.

Now that’s I’ve shared how I make sure Miss H is getting the nutrition she needs with the help of Kidfresh, how do you get your kids to eat their fruits and veggies? Any great tips or tricks?

What a fun idea! Noah is one of those kids who eats the same things over and over, I'm just glad the things he likes are a little healthier than hot dogs ;). This spinner would be so fun to use!
