For our 5th wedding anniversary we went on a Caribbean Cruise. If you know anything about cruises, they want you to buy 2 things 1) the drinks (for obvious reasons) and 2) watches! Not knowing anything about how a watch works other than my fancy Lion King Timex from high school, Jeff convinced me to take a class and learned all about the different kinds of watches, the history of them and why at the end of the day it’s a timeless timepiece for your collection.
I was thrilled when JORD reached out to me to learn more about their watches. I was even more excited because I was intrigued by a wooden wrist watch and they are a St. Louis based company. I always love supporting local if possible. At first I didn’t think a wooden watch would be dainty and ladylike, but I was mistaken. I’m the kind of girl who always loves a pop of color and the Cora in Maple & Lavender is the perfect for my love of Lilly! Paired with most of my Lilly dresses and I’ve got an adorable outfit.
Sunday, I paired it with jeans, black trapeze top and pink tassel necklace for church this weekend and it was adorable!
I think Jeff is a little jealous of my fun new arm candy. After my watch arrived last week, he hopped on the website and started dropping Father’s Day Gift Ideas. He is quite the watch guy and a wooden watch for my engineer would be a wonderful addition to his every growing watch collection.
