Do you have family holiday traditions? Growing up, I can remember a handful of events that we did as a family every single holiday season. When we became parents, I knew I wanted to have those same kind of long last memories started early with Hattie. We’ve been doing so every year for as long as Hattie has been able to get into the groove and this year we’ve had so much fun! Watching the holidays through the eyes of children is so magical and I just love getting to be her mom.
One of our favorite traditions is to go to Christmas Traditions in a historic area of our city. It’s a fun event where you get the chance to see historical characters all along the scenic main street. From drummers to elves and Santa they are all there. We especially love the big parade in the afternoon seeing everyone in action. This year we went and the weather was unseasonably warm, and Hattie wore the most the adorable outfit from Oshkosh B’gosh.
I love dressing H in a classic yet quirky styles, and she seems to fit that well. She loves dressing up, wearing jackets and accessories, so I knew she’d love wearing this adorable Oshkosh B’gosh look.
The corduroy shorts set with the leggings is just the sweetest. Paired with the star top with ruffled shoulder and the structured jacket was just perfection. The hit of the day were the adorable floral deer hair clips. We could hear whispers down the sidewalk and people stopped us multiple times asking where we got them.
Truly the accessory hit of the holiday!

I’m pretty sure I sr as my little girl better than I dress myself, I just love picking out clothes for her! Hattie looks adorable in that outfit! This is our first Christmas with Olivia and it truly is a whole different experience and so magical. I am cherishing each moment but can’t wait until she is old enough for some Christmas traditions.

This whole look is just adorable! I want hair clips like that for me 🙂 We got so into Christmas traditions this year as 3 seems to be the perfect age. We did cookies, Santa pics, tried making a gingerbread house (that later collapsed) and of course the winter wonderland lights drive. One thing that was new this year that we plan on repeating is a day of gift wrap printmaking. We used a roll of bubble wrap and paint to make our holiday gift wrap. It was so much fun and will make the gifts a lil more personal

She is too adorable Jen! She is my inspiration for Piper’s wardrobe!
