There are a many things that my husband and I can agree on, but one that tops the list is entertaining. We love having friends and family at our home for a variety of reasons, or no reason at all. When football season comes back around, we are always ready and prepared to have guests at any time. Today, I thought I’d share with you 5 tips and ideas for your next home entertaining party. With the help of Coca-Cola® and Sam’s Club, I have everything I need in one stop to make our next gathering a breeze.

DIY Float Station

Sometimes the simplest pairings are the best for crowds. Growing up we always had Coca-Cola® Floats for home entertaining (also, side note, have you ever had a blended float? So good!) There was always a case of Coca-Cola® in the fridge and a vanilla ice cream in the freezer. One of my favorite things to do for a gathering is a DIY Float Station!

I like to have a variety of Coca-Cola® products and ice cream. For families at the party,  I love to switch it up a little and do Rainbow Sherbet Floats with Sprite®.  You could even plan ahead and make 1-2 scoops in your Party Cups you picked up at Sam’s Club and keep them in the freezer and just pour over your favorite beverage on top! I always keep a drink station filled with ice and drinks for quick and easy fun!

Snack Stadium

I love keeping easy accessible options on hand and then refill containers as necessary. An idea I picked up a few years ago was a Snack Stadium. You can easily make one of these yourself, or just find a more oblong serving tray to make it happen.

Just fill your favorite snacks all in one place and arrange it to look like a stadium. I love using guacamole as the grass for a fun look. I love keeping a variety of heated and cool options on hand for a variety. Don’t forget a sweet option too! We opted to kettle corn this party!

Paper Products

If you’re having friends over, the last thing you want to do are the dishes after the party is over. I like to keep everything super simple. Use throw away plates, cups and napkins are key to any event.  Your friends are there to spend time with you, not question if you brought out the fine china.

Besides, you don’t want anything broken when the rival team scores, do you? When you are doing a pick up at Sam’s Club, be sure to toss in plates and cups so that clean up is a breeze.

Help from the Sam’s Club

Prepping for a party couldn’t be easier with Sam’s Club. I love the Scan & Go feature as well as the pick up option. I just order online and head to the store and they have the Sprite® 35 count case waiting for me with the rest of my order.  I’ll take help anywhere I can get it! Planning ahead cuts down on the stress of hosting and you can get everything in one place and of course more time for football. I also stock on party supplies like plates and cups, so I am prepared for many parties to come.

I have to add this one in for myself, because personally when I’m entertaining I always over plan, over think, and really as a host with the most, I just want everyone to have fun! Be sure to take some time before, during and after your gathering to soak it all in. You’ve done the hard work of getting everything prepared, you deserve a moment to relax.

Now that you’ve learned some easy tips and tricks for this upcoming season, you are officially ready for football home parties! Be sure to add that trip to Sam’s Club into the schedule, stock your fridge full of Coca-Cola® products and have a great time with friends and family!

Tell me, what are your go to party snacks for your football festivities?
