What a fun weekend! It seemed so action packed. It all started Friday night when my BFFie declared we were doing an adult Easter Egg Hunt at our friends house. We had a blast! I came home with a huge bag of candy and mini bottles of peach vodka and horchatta. Can’t complain about that!
Saturday was mulch day. Hubs had 7 yards of mulch delivered that morning and Miss H and I had to stay out of the way. We made ourselves scarce and went to Crate & Barrel to pick up a shower gift, visited Aunt Melissa’s new puppy Lewis and got Chick-Fil-A! During nap time, I tried to be productive by making these yummy oreo truffle pops. They turned super yummy! The Saturday night I went to a bridal shower for my SIL and went to the grocery store to prep for Sunday!
Sunday was Easter! Miss H wasn’t at all interested in her Easter Basket. We didn’t go super nuts – just books & crafts! We went to my Mom’s house for brunch and then boogied out early so Miss H could nap. Of course we had to have a family pic!
After nap, all of Jeff’s family came over for snacks and an Easter Egg hunt! Hattie had a blast! Her Papa John brought her a slide and she LOVES it! It’s just a matter of time before she can do it on her own.
Hope you had a fabulous Easter with family!
The cake pops look delicious! Your family pictures yesterday are adorable!
Yummy cake pops – glad you guys had a great easter!
Can I call dibs on your Easter dress when you're done with it in a few years? LOVE.
The Adult Easter Egg Hunt will be a must for my friends and I next year–like for reals! If not, I am coming and joining yours because it sounds super fun! And I loved all the pics from IG this weekend. What a lovely family!
So much fun!! Love both of your dresses!
I am jealous of how green your grass is!!!! Beautiful pictures!
Oreo truffle pops?! YUM! Hattie looks so adorable – my daughter is a bit too young to do the whole 'searching for Easter eggs' thing, but maybe next year! I already can't wait until she can really enjoy the holidays <3 — Lisa | Two Martinis
