I can’t believe how popular this post has been since I first published it over six years ago. My Chocolate Pudding Pie must just bring back warm happy memories for everyone because it is that good!
One of my favorite pies is chocolate pudding pie with Graham Cracker crust. I’m usually lazy and buy a crust, but today I decided to whip up my own. I know, call me Susie Homemaker.
Here is what you’ll need:
- 1 Sleeve of Graham Crackers (9-10 sheets)
- 6 TBSP butter melted
- 1/3 Cups Sugar
- 1 1/2 Cups Milk
- 1 Box Chocolate pudding
- Whipped Cream (Homemade or bought…I don’t judge)
In a food processor, pulse the sugar & crackers till it looks like sand and stream in the melted butter until you get the consistency of coarse, wet sand.
Pour into a pie pan and use a measuring cup to press the crumbs to form a crust.
Mix the milk & pudding to combine and pour into crust and chill for 1 hour.
If you want to have a crunchier crust, you can bake up for 8 mins at 350 and then cool and add the filling.
After it chills, top with Whipped Cream and I got a little fancy and added chocolate shavings from a chocolate bar had. Tip – keep that chocolate in the freezer and you’ll have prettier shavings. Chocolate syrup would be fun too.
And there you go! Semi-homemade at its finest!
