Thank you to Anheuser Busch for the hosting us for Brewery Lights. All opinions are my own.
It’s the most wonderful time of year, and I feel like this year with how the holiday lined up, we’re almost getting a bonus week of holiday spirit! We had the opportunity to help Anheuser Busch kick off their 2018 season for Brewery Lights! Now, we aren’t strangers to this event, we have gone almost every year Hattie has been born. Truly, it is one of our favorite traditions of the season.
This year, we had the opportunity to take advantage of the Fire Pit Fun Package where we were treated to a buffet in the Schoolhouse, S’mores and more! If you’re headed down with a group of friends, this is definitely the choice for you!
The thing I love about the Fire Pit Package is that you have access to the Schoolhouse. It’s nice and warm and bathrooms! Of course, there are other bathrooms, but I really love that the Schoolhouse is centrally located right down the main stretch of where you’ll be checking everything out. Inside the school house there is a buffet loaded with all your brewery favorites. I especially love the soft pretzels and the cheese sauce. Delish! Did I mention there is complimentary beer & soda too?
After we loaded up on yummy dinner, we headed out to check out the lights. This year they have some new additions including a train! In addition to the train, they have brought back their Kid Zone with a movie playing and more! Hattie just wanted to see Clydesdales, so we didn’t spend much time there, but it looked so fun! Frosty the Snowman was playing!
Now if you’re not taking advantage of one of the amazing packages, you can just come to experience the lights too! In addition to just visiting, you’ll get 2 samples that are located near the main entrance of the lights. I tried the Vanilla Porter (totally not my type of beer) and absolutely loved it! We took our samples and headed into see the gorgeous Clydesdales. Seriously, so many fun photo ops!
After we walked around, we decided we were chilly and it was time for S’mores! Now, our package included a fire pit, but there are fire pits near the top near the visitors center and you can purchase your own S’more Kits.
I love that this year they partnered with Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate to already have the graham crackers chocolate dipped. Why have I never seen this before? It’s genius! Just roast your marshmallow and go! Love that idea!
Did we even go to the brewery if we didn’t take a photo with our favorite sign? I think not! I just love that they added this sign a few years ago. Thank you to Anheuser Busch for hosting our group for a family fun evening! You can bring your family to the Brewery Lights now through December 30th from 5-10pm. Plenty of parking and free fun for all! Be sure to check out their additional packages as that may be a really fun way to connect with friends and family for a fun holiday event.
