Apple Picking at Centennial Farms

It is that time of year again – apple picking! St. Louis has quite a few popular apple picking locations, but I have a place that not many people know about – Centennial Farms! If you live in the western part of St. Louis, you don’t always want to drive long distances to pick apples. Centennial is tucked in the heart of Augusta, MO – just a quick 18 miles or so off of highway 40 and 94.Miss H and I decided to open the sunroof and have a fun morning. Centennial is a small farm, but it is perfect for a quick trip for apples.

We were able to pick from Fuji and Winesap Apples. We went on a Monday morning and there was no one there. Really, no one. I actually thought the place was closed!

We ended up spending a couple of hours playing in the orchards and on their fun playground. Miss H had a ball looking at all the apples and running up and down the aisles. Here are a fun of the many fun photos we took that day.

Her apple top and shorts are Boden from a couple of years ago. (I plan ahead)
