1) Get To Scoopin’ EarlyWe all know there will be pie, cake, and more at your events. You can’t forget to go ala mode! The last thing you want to do is be up to your elbows in sticky ice cream serving your guests. A couple of hours before the party, set your favorite EDY’S® Ice Cream on the counter to soften, and make individual scoops into cupcake liners. Then toss them back in the freezer until it’s time to serve. Then there is no mess to clean up. You could even add one of the frozen scoops to the top of a waffle cone for an easy sweet treat.
Thinking about all the fun flavor choices that EDY’S Ice Cream has to offer, the possibilities are endless. We especially love the Nestlé Butterfinger® Peanut Butter Cups and Baby Ruth® varieties. I love to offer a variety of options to my guests and most of the time they chose both! I feel confident serving EDY’S Ice Cream because it is proudly made with fresh milk & cream with no rBST (milk production hormone) and no artificial colors or flavor.
I am a big fan the gallon sized resealable bag. One of the big time savers before a party is prepping all of my items for a veggie tray. There is one at every party we throw. I also make sure I have extra bags of all the items in the refrigerator for easy restocking throughout the party. Think about easy options like baby carrots or sliced cucumbers. Go even easier with a jar of olives or sweet pickles. Those are always a crowd pleaser. You could do the same thing for fruit trays as well. Sliced watermelon is also a great option to have at your hot summer parties. The less you have to do to keep your food platters, the better.Thinking of grilling veggies? No problem! Chop your veggies and marinade them in your resealable bag. No need for washing any dishes and just toss the dirty bag away! We love to do this with zucchini and squash. Quite the crowd pleaser!
Ever been to a party where you have to ask where the napkins or extra forks are? Don’t be that party. Ahead of time, take 3 glass jars and label them for your cutlery. A chalkboard sticker would be darling for these too. This is a great DIY to keep in your pantry. Pull them out for parties and put them away when you don’t need them. I always purchase an industrial box of cutlery so that I can just refill when my containers are looking low during the party. Another easy tip is to use paper plates and napkins. It’s not taboo and totally acceptable to use paper! Easy clean up, too! Always plan for 2 plates per person (hello, second helpings) and 3 napkins. I always keep an assortment of these on hand because you never know when a friend is bring over cake, too!
If you’re like me, you always have way too much food at the end of a party and that means leftovers! I like to take help from the store and pick up take and toss containers. That way if I’ve made way too much food, I’m sending it home with guests. Don’t have those? A resealable bag is always a great choice too. Always plan for leftovers in your refrigerator. Maybe a day or so before the party do a quick clean out to make room. No one likes to try to cram everything into the fridge at the end of the night when you just want to go to bed.
I find all of my favorite party items like EDY’S Ice Cream at Walmart. I love that every thing is a one stop shop that gives me more time to spend with my friends and family celebrating and having fun. You can find EDY’S Ice Cream in the freezer section in your local Walmart. Seriously, so many options! There may be demos in your area during the month of June. Check the list to see if there is one in your area!

Such great tips to making party planning a bit easier this Summer. I love ice cream and the tip to use cupcake holders is genius.
Great tips! The ice cream tip is genius! We've started buying the huge package of plastic utensils too! And while we have loads of napkins I'm horrible and refilling the holder! My husband is always asking where it is. When we eat at the kitchen counter it's in the dining room and vice versa. Maybe it's time to buy a second lol!
Pre-scooping the ice cream is brilliant! Getting those scoop out at a party before the whole thing melts is a major pet peeve of mine. What a simple and perfect solution to that problem!
I like the plastic cutlery in the jars idea- looks so cute and easy. What a great idea!
YUM! I want some ice cream now! But really…I always want ice cream!
I love Edy's! This post is making me want to go to the store to get some right now!!!!
These are great tips! I love using cupcake liners…so cute!
Genius idea on the ice cream scooping! It's usually a mess, a struggle to get scoops fast enough as kids line up. I'm adopting these for the next backyard party!!
These are all really great tips! I especially love the one about putting the ice cream in individual cupcake liners like that…genius!
These are such simple, yet brilliant ideas! I especially like the ice cream idea – I might just use this tip on an average weeknight. My extremely impatient toddler would appreciate his after-dinner dessert being ready immediately! lol

Love this idea for summer. Pinned for future ideas.
Pre-scooping ice cream?? GENIUS!!
I'm hoping to throw a big ice cream party for my niece. The idea of having extra plates and such is perfect. It would be also cool to do a themed ice cream party and see about getting some plastic spoons that match the theme. https://froyogelatosupplies.com/inicio/store/SPOONS
