We let Miss H sit in the front with us so she could see better…we were only driving 5 mph, so I wasn’t too worried. They ended up opening about 15 minutes late because 30% of the lights were out BUT they gave us a 30% discount. Miss H wouldn’t have even noticed.
Happy Monday! Hope you had a fabulous weekend – we sure did! Let’s see, we were pretty busy in prep for my Cookie Exchange Party on Sunday, so we spent most of Saturday in prep mode. We did go to church, make a gingerbread house and had dinner with the in-laws at Jason’s Deli. I mean, who can say no to free ice cream?
Sunday, I went to Barre, Trader Joe’s, baked a boat load of cookies ( I wanted fresh for my friends, of course!) and then put the final touches on the party! I’ll share more on that later this week so stay tuned! Then after we had eaten our share of sugary goodness, we hopped in the car and went to see the Celebration of Lights!
We tuned our car to the radio station and rocked out Christmas tunes all the way through. Every time we saw a Santa or Snowman, Miss H got SO excited. Maybe that thing about Christmas being magical again when you have kids is really a thing.
We have our last swim lesson this week, a play date and that is it! I’m glad we have a quiet week before my birthday weekend! How was your weekend?
Have a great week!
