I think this was the first weekend it actually felt like summer. Brutal St. Louis Summer.
What did we do you ask? More car shopping!
Why is car shopping so hard?
I think we are *THIS* close to saying yes. I test drove one on Saturday and loved it. We’re at the point where we’re deciding what options I can and can’t live without. My only must have is moon roof. I think we’re to the point where we’ve look at so much it’s bleeding together – totally like wedding dress shopping!
So after shopping we just had lunch at 5 Guys and continued our discussion. During nap hubs sent me to look at the Mercedes just to say we look at all the options in the category. That’s so not my scene. I felt weird and nervous like I didn’t belong (kind of like I do when I go to Lululemon). Luckily, I wasn’t there long, but it confirmed that it wasn’t what we were looking for. Double bonus – hubs sent me to get a pedicure which I desperately needed!
I decided to do some shopping that I know isn’t hard! Gap had 40% off everything this weekend and they had some fantastic deals. I always like stocking up this time of year for next summer for Miss H. $6 for a dress? How can you say no?! I even picked up a few things for hubs too, and of course myself!
Sunday morning I ended up sleeping in the basement with Riley. I’ve never met a dog so scared of wind in my entire life. I feel like she has a NOA Weather Radio built in and she jumps at any weather within a 50 mile radius. I had planned on making monkey bread and luckily we all got to sleep in a little.
I always forget how good monkey bread is and why don’t I make it more often.
It’s so easy! Oh, and someone threw away my silicone tube pan. Not cool.
